Neetu & Ken married!

Neetu has a sharp sense of style. From the beginning, she knew she would not be donning a puffy white gown. For her ceremony she was adorned in an exquisite pink & blue sari which she purchased at a designer shop in India.  Afterward, she changed into a sequined black stunner.

The day was dazzling in glamorous details. Everything was hot pink & black w/ damusk details intermixed (stationary accents, table runners, etc…). Neetu’s fashionable taste was apparent.
The room underwent a magical lighting makeover during the switchover from the ceremony to reception design.

For the ceremony, the guests’ chairs circled the stage, along with 4 giant silver trees with crystals to really make a statement.
After the ceremony, guests were escorted upstairs to enjoy cocktail hour, while the dining room was transformed into a divine reception space.  The décor offered a really modern, glamorous feel. The dance floor was covered w/ a damask wash. Every single orchid was painted magenta (hot pink) so even in the dark space, the flowers really popped. The magenta uplights enhanced the etched characteristics of the walls & ceiling.

Isn't she gorgeous?
Love how her candy table was round.

In lieu of favors, Neetu & Ken made donations on their guests' behalf (although, there was a treat in the bag).

I love Lily Stein's style. It's as though we're looking at a fashion magazine....

Jenna & Gerry married!

This was such a gorgeous wedding at the breathtaking Bel-Air Bay Club.
Jenna is an example of a beautiful person both inside & out. I can tell she is an amazing pediatrician by the way she was constantly poised & thoughtful towards others. Check these photos taken by Laura Bailey Photography, just gorgeous!

Stephanie & Joseph married!

These hot cocoa shots were mesmerizing, ha ha. I want one, now.

Carrie McCluskey is the incredible photographer behind these shots. Stephanie & Joe celebrated their wedding at the Ayre's Hotel in Manhatten Beach. What a beautiful couple.
Thank you for the photos, Carrie!

Newly married!

After a couple of concerned emails from photographers, I noticed I do a horrible job of posting photos from our weddings. I am vowing to do a much better job of this in 2011.
Over the next week, I hope to catch up & post some fun, gorgeous photos of recent weddings. I guess I figure I will get around to it & then with my family, meetings, etc..., weeks end up flying by before I actually sit down & take in the fabulous images. Crummy, I know. I need to showcase the dedication (of all involved) that goes into such beautiful events.

Below are images from Kelly & John's Bel-Air Bay Club wedding, captured by the uber-talented/creative Cameron Ingalls.
Kelly designed her centerpieces.

Fabulous.

Man, the weather was interesting that day! She looks so chic, regardless.

A word from Kaci!

My girl, Kaci, is my rock when we coordinate weddings together. Since her debut at team H&B, she has grown tremendously without losing a single spark of her spunk & enthusiasm. She is now rocking her own weddings as the main coordinator so I figured it's time for her to share her thoughts on here.

From Kaci:

Even after I’ve witnessed so many weddings, one part still gets to me every time!  I get goose bumps when every single bride walks down the aisle.  Think about it…it is a perfect moment, and there are so many elements that make that moment unforgettable.  Of course, there is the bride herself.  From her amazing wedding dress (which is custom made to match each bride’s personality) to her hair and makeup, she is the definition of beauty.  On the other end stands the groom, who looks so proud waiting for his future to get to him!  Then, there are all of the friends and family that are on their feet with over flowing excitement for the couple.  Wait…don’t forget about the flowers, bridesmaid’s dresses, tuxedos…and the list could go on and on.  When it all comes together, every element compliments each other.  Why shouldn’t this moment stand out?  It is the first second of the rest of their lives together!!
