50% off Videography!

It appears our beloved wedding industry is no exception to Black Friday. My friend, Carolin, has an unbelievable deal going on all weekend for a videography package. Her company, Love Story Production, is offering a HALF OFF discount!  Carolyn is an incredible wedding videographer as well as an award winning film maker. I'd rush over to her wedding wire page to scoop this deal up!

our musical couple

One of our favorite weddings, this summer, was Annie & Marcus'. You most likely have heard their sweet melodies on tv or here on the internet or some other form of media. If you haven't, it's absolutely worth your time to check out their site.

These two are the depiction of creativity, class, & love. Little & Ashley's tunes are so sweet & catchy. A pure joy to our ears. Regarding their wedding, we cannot even begin to describe our adoration for their personal wedding details.- Fun & charming....& GREAT music!

Patricia & James!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with Patricia & James while planning their wedding.

They are a laid back couple & that trait did not waiver the entire time. If they were ever stressed, it did not show.  Patricia came up with gorgeous décor elements that really impressed me.  Their ceremony & reception were held at the Jonathan Club in downtown Los Angeles. Not that I would expect anything less than stellar from the club, but their service was beyond phenomenal, from the bussers to the event manager. Every single staff member I came in contact with was extraordinarily friendly & professional. I am absolutely delighted to say Hustle & Bustle is now on their preferred vendor list because it will be a joy to work at the Jonathan Club again. Now back to the couple. As you can see, they are just lovely.Their ceremony was held on the roof top surrounded by skyscrapers. It created an amazing backdrop. The cocktail hour & dinner were held in two very different regal rooms. While the interior felt very grand & formal, Patricia's flowers & details, such as the kids table covered w/ jars of candy, provided a softer touch. Yes, they had a fun photo booth which also lightened the mood! Each guest had the privilege to take home a couple succulents as favors. Congratulations to Patricia & James!
Samantha at Primary petals was the genius behind the florals. It's difficult to match her talent.

The W Hollywood

I'm quite thrilled Kaci just booked another wedding at the gorgeous W Hotel in Hollywood for next year.
Last May, we had the honor to help plan the very first (ever!) wedding at this hotel. Talk about amazing...I would seriously visit Chris at the venue if you are looking for a hip, chic, impressive venue for your event.
Unfortunately, we cannot share photos from our event because it was a celebrity wedding but I did manage to sneak a pic w/ my phone :-)...& then a couple of my daughter at a walk-through, just because I'm a proud mama, ha ha.

We are so looking forward to our wedding at the W, next year!

Andrea & Kenny!

Our team had the lovely honor to coordinate this couple’s wedding at the Hyatt in Newport Beach.
Andrea & Kenny had such fun personalities. It was the first time I’ve seen guests win designer Snuggies!
The whole day was gorgeous & fun, much like the couple themselves.

Whoa! Last post was written back in May?!

Needless to say, it's been a BUSY wedding season. I am so blessed for the opportunities to share & help create such special days for such special people. This year really has provided me a chance to meet some of the most creative, talented, & loving couples. I feel I could write a book expressing my respect & admiration for these clients, as well as the many new professionals I've met & worked with for the first time. Perhaps, I will save that for a later post.....There really are some amazing pros I'd love to show off!
This year has also blessed me with a new addition to our family. We are expecting another baby girl next month! I get to enjoy two more weddings & then it's Baby Time! :-) Not that I'm trying to make excuses, but hopefully you can understand why the blog has been put on hold the last few months. Clients, weddings, & family comes first. I will do my best to update you with recent photos, informative tid bits, & relevant wedding info as the season slows down. I have also placed Kaci in charge of creating posts so the pressure is on, Miss Kaci!

Exciting news!

We are so incredibly proud & flattered to have won the "best coordinated wedding of 2010" from Style Unveiled!
Charlene & Michael were an absolute joy to work with. We miss them & their wedding terribly.
Their wedding took place at the Riviera Resort in Palm Springs. Everything about their wedding was joyous, their family, friends, details, weather....everything.
Their superstar photographer was  Michael Segal. We are so excited to be collaborating with him, this August, for another fabulous wedding.
You can check out the photos here.

Neetu & Ken married!

Neetu has a sharp sense of style. From the beginning, she knew she would not be donning a puffy white gown. For her ceremony she was adorned in an exquisite pink & blue sari which she purchased at a designer shop in India.  Afterward, she changed into a sequined black stunner.

The day was dazzling in glamorous details. Everything was hot pink & black w/ damusk details intermixed (stationary accents, table runners, etc…). Neetu’s fashionable taste was apparent.
The room underwent a magical lighting makeover during the switchover from the ceremony to reception design.

For the ceremony, the guests’ chairs circled the stage, along with 4 giant silver trees with crystals to really make a statement.
After the ceremony, guests were escorted upstairs to enjoy cocktail hour, while the dining room was transformed into a divine reception space.  The décor offered a really modern, glamorous feel. The dance floor was covered w/ a damask wash. Every single orchid was painted magenta (hot pink) so even in the dark space, the flowers really popped. The magenta uplights enhanced the etched characteristics of the walls & ceiling.

Isn't she gorgeous?
Love how her candy table was round.

On their way to the Biltmore to change & take photos

In lieu of favors, Neetu & Ken made donations on their guests' behalf (although, there was a treat in the bag).

I love Lily Stein's style. It's as though we're looking at a fashion magazine....
